Sydney rapper and singer MUNGMUNG seems like a perfect way to kick off BIGSOUND. It is possible to shoutout those that were great. Without a crystal ball it's impossible predict the futures of the artists on show this year. Will you be in the right place at the right time to see that act that is just about to explode? No matter how well-prepared you are going into an event like this, there's an element of luck involved. So, no matter where you go and at what time, it's unlikely you'll see anyone subpar.
Who was good?Īrtists generally don't get a chance to play BIGSOUND until they've proven their quality live and on record. That soon dissipates as everyone gets to the matter at hand – trying to catch as much of the finest emerging musical talent in the country (and beyond) as we can.
